Director General for Political Affairs Wim Geerts; POLOFF
followed up on August 30 with Gertie Mulder, MFA Director for
South America. Geerts and Mulder both expressed appreciation
for the advance invitation to U/S Burns's Meeting on Colombia
on the margins of the UN General Assembly (UNGA). MFA
Director General De Gooijer will attend parts of UNGA and
depending on the date would attend U/S Burns's meeting.
Mulder promised to review the meeting agenda and follow up
with any comments.
