(S) Econoff delivered on August 29 reftel points and background information concerning the USG intention to submit the names of five Saudi terrorist financiers to the UN 1267 Sanctions Committee to Wendela Haringhuizen, Senior Policy Officer in the Terrorism and New Threats Unit at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Econoff delivered the points separately to Erik Ligthart, Deputy Director in the Financial Integrity Department at the Dutch Ministry of Finance. ¶2. (S) The Dutch officials said they would pass the information to the Intelligence and Security Services (AIVD) and inform post of any findings.
