Non-Proliferation and Counter-Terrorism Yehuda Ya'acov March
28. Ya'acov commented that the 1747 represented a step
forward in a number of ways. particularly its inclusion of
financial sanctions on Bank Sepah and the naming of key IRGC
officers. Ya'acov noted that Israel had not been pleased
with the activities of South Africa and Indonesia in the
Security Council discussions, but said he was hopeful that
dynamic would not repeat itself. He added that he thought
the preparations for the next resolution should start soon.
