(SBU) Responding to ref B information on the 3rd GI Conference scheduled to take place June 11-12 in Astana, Kazakhstan, Propper said that it is likely -- but not yet confirmed -- that MFA Deputy Director General for Strategic Affairs Ambassador Miriam Ziv will lead the Israeli delegation to conference. Propper promised to confirm Israel's participation and details as soon as possible. ¶4. (SBU) Propper expressed appreciation for the information in refs C and D, observing that there are now 25 countries involved in the Global Initiative.
