(S) On July 23, we delivered reftel points to Urmas Eigla,
MFA Acting Director for Middle East Affairs, and Riho
Kruuv, MFA Director for Strategic Goods Control, to seek
Estonia's support to maintain consistent international
pressure on Iran to comply with United Nations Security
Council Resolutions (UNSCR) 1737 and 1747. Eigla
reaffirmed the GOE supports U.S. efforts for the full
implementation of UNSCR 1737 and 1747. As the GOE has no
diplomatic presence in the region, he remarked that Estonia
focuses its efforts on Iran to discussions within EU fora.
Eigla took on board our points without further comment.
