information of gross violations of human rights by the
military officer below:
NAME: Onguene Ateba
RANK: Director of Judicial Police
CURRENT ASSIGNMENT: Office of Judicial Police
DATE OF BIRTH: July 21, 1957
GENDER: Male
2. Post is permitted to provide the following statement to
authorized parties; Embassy verifies that the Department of
State possesses no credible information of gross violations
of human rights by the officer identified in paragraph 1
above, as of June 13, 2007. Post may cite this cable in
response.
3. If in the future post becomes aware of possible human
rights violations by the individual listed above, post should
inform the Department and not proceed with training.
