Following an Embassy review which identified no derogatory information, the Department reviewed its files and identified no derogatory information on the following Ukrainian State Border Guard Service (SBGS) officers who will visit the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center/Department of Homeland Security (FLETC/DHS) in Glynco, GA to work with the FLETC staff on curriculum development and training initiatives for SBGS' transition to a civilian law enforcement agency. The SBGS will also attend the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference in New Orleans, LA. The SBGS officers will be in the U.S. from October 11-21, 2007. This vetting is pursuant to the Leahy Act. ¶2.
