(C) The Ambassador delivered reftel points and non-papers to
FM Milososki on December 4, emphasizing the importance of
maintaining diplomatic pressure on Iran to halt its uranium
enrichment program and related activities. Milososki agreed.
He said that Iran had had a chance, working with the IAEA,
EU and others, to demonstrate its peaceful intent. It had
failed to do so, however. As a result, it would be important
for the international community to exert "more concrete and
visible pressure" on the government in Tehran.
