(SBU) Singapore will abstain from voting on the four UN Third
Committee country-specific human rights resolutions on Iran,
Belarus, Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea and Burma in
the UNGA Plenary, MFA International Organizations Directorate
Deputy Director Jophie Tang advised us on December 10. Ms.
Tang said that Singapore usually follows the same voting
pattern in the UNGA Plenary that was used in the Third
Committee.
