(S) MFA Assistant Director ONG Soo Chuan on January 26 contacted Econoff to relay follow-up questions related to the information we provided the GOS on January 23 (reftels). Ong reported that GOS technical agencies had asked for more specific information regarding the computer numerically controlled machines (CNC) in question, such as number of rotary axes and positioning accuracy. He suggested that if the technical information was available on the manufacturer's website, GOS agencies could confirm the specifications themselves. Note: We will remind MFA that the number of axes was provided in the non-paper. End note. ¶3. (S) Action request: Post requests Washington provide more detailed technical information for the CNCs, including the manufacturer's website if possible. FERGIN
