(SBU) MOFAT's Deputy Director for Human Rights and Social
Affairs Jang Hyun-cheol told poloff on December 17 that the
ROK would vote against Draft Resolution L.65/Rev 1 when it
comes to a plenary vote on December 18. Jang added that the
ROK would continue to consider their votes in the UNGA Third
Committee as final and therefore the U.S. could expect that
the ROK would vote the same in the plenary as it does in the
Third Committee on all resolutions.
