(C) Ambassador drew on points per reftel to urge Chairman of
the Bosnian Presidency Nebojsha Radmanovic to maintain
Bosnia's contributions to international security efforts in
Iraq. President Radmanovic affirmed the importance of
Bosnia's two year deployment to Iraq of an Explosive
Ordinance Disposal unit, which had its mandate recently
extended through the end of 2007. President Radmanovic also
noted that his upcoming visit with Presidency member Zeljko
Komsic and Defense Minister Selmo Cikotic to Iraq was an
important signal of the importance the Bosnian government
attaches to the mission.
