¶1. Econoff delivered reftel talking points on the WTO Doha
Industrial Goods Tariff Negotiations to Juan Guiliani Cury,
Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs at the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs. Cury expressed support for the solution
for small, vulnerable economies that has been put forward by
the NAMA Chairman. He said he was waiting for final approval
from the Ministry of Finance before sending instructions to
the Dominican mission in Geneva. Cury did not have any
comments on the overall NAMA negotiations.
