1. On August 8, PolOff conveyed reftel information via
diplomatic note to Christian Guillermet Fernandez, Director
General of the Foreign Policy Office of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs (MFA) and Rita Hernandez Bolanos, Director of
Protocol of the MFA.


2. MFA officials indicate that they will support Ms. Gaer's
candidacy to continue her work on the Committee.
