ARGENTINA'S INTERPOL REQUEST

(C) On October 31, EMBOFF delivered REFTEL demarche to
Abdullah Mossalam Al-Socotry of the two America's office at
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Al-Socotry said that he
would wait for further information before he offered a
response. EMBOFF also spoke by telephone to Dr. AbdelKarim
Khattan, who will head the Yemeni delegation to the November
5-8 INTERPOL General Assembly meeting in Morocco. Khattan
said that the Yemeni delegation intended to support
Argentina's effort to confirm the EC's unanimous decision.
