Director for UN Affairs Leonardo Bencini, April 27. Morini
told poloff Italy thought the overall text of the UNSC
resolution renewing the MINURSO mandate was balanced.
However, he said the Italian Permrep had instructions to
raise concerns over the language in paragraph five of the
preamble. Morini explained that Italy was neither for nor
against the language but is concerned it might cause further
rigidity on the part of the Polisario Front.
