¶1. (C) Latvian political director Klava told Pol/econ chief
February 23 that he foresaw no difficulties in Latvian
supporting Bosnia and Slovenia for the Eastern European seats
on the Human Rights Committee. Latvia certainly would not
support Belarus, he said, and he agreed that Bosnia raised
fewer concerns than Armenia.
