1. (C) On December 10, poloff discussed the UNGA Plenary
Votes on Country-Specific Resolutions (reftels) with MFA
Humanitarian Affairs Director Abdelmounaim El Farouq.
2. (C) El Farouq responded that he did not expect the GOM to
change its position on any of the resolutions it had voted
for in the U.N. Third Committee and he expected the GOM's New
York delegation to be present at the Plenary from December 17
through 19.
