(1) (SBU) On November 21, POLOFF delivered reftel demarche--and accompanying non-paper--concerning the U.S. proposal for the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism (GI) to develop a Nuclear Detection Architecture Model to the Moroccan MFA's Head of the United Nations Division Azzedine Farhane. (2) (SBU) Farhane welcomed the U.S. initiative and said that the MFA would review the proposal favorably and get back Poloff with any comments/amendments on the non-paper.
