1. (C) On November 21, in a meeting with MFA UN Affairs
Director Azzedine Farhane, poloff urged Moroccan support on
the UNGA Third Committee Resolution on the Human Rights
situation in Belarus, which faced a "no-action" vote in New
York on the morning of the same day.
2. (C) Farhane stated that the GOM would either vote against
the no-action motion or ensure that ts delegate was absent
during the vote. He saidhe would call the Moroccan mission
to the UN as oon as his meeting with poloff ended to discuss
he situation and issue instructions.
