¶1. (C/NF) MFA Director of UN Department Jan Kara told Poloff
on March 16 that he believes the EU's new position on the
reform of the UN's international administration of justice is
consistent with the U.S. position explained in reftel. (He
did not know whether the substance of the EU position has
been made public yet.) He confirmed his understanding that by
supporting the EU position, the Czech government would also
be fully supporting the U.S. position.
