(SBU) Czech MFA Officials in the Department of the United
Nations, informed Embassy officials that on October 31 they
instructed the Czech mission in New York to vote for U.S.
candidate David Walker for UN Independent Audit Advisory
Committee. While the Spanish and Swiss Embassies had
requested Czech support for their candidates, after careful
review, the Czech decided in favor of our candidate for this
contested seat.
