Ambassador Richard Graber and Czech Education Minister Dana
Kuchtova signed a U.S. - Czech Science and Technology
Cooperation Agreement in Prague September 6. The 10-year
agreement outlines the framework for cooperation in basic and
applied research, and will make it easier for scientific
organizations and researchers to exchange information between
the two countries. The agreement still must be approved by
the U.S. Congress, both houses of Czech parliament and signed
by the Czech president for ratification.
