(SBU) Pol Chief spoke November 1 with Margaret Trousseau,
Deputy Director of Multilateral Affairs at Trinidad and
Tobago's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ms. Trousseau said the
GOTT would not send a delegation to the November 14-17
Community of Democracies Ministerial in Bamako, Mali. This
is because all GOTT attention is now concentrated on the
nationwide elections scheduled for November 5 and also
because there will be a period of reorganization following
the elections, including possible changes in the cabinet.
