Ambassador delivered reftel invite and proposed agenda on
April 12 to Foreign Minister Jean Renald Clerisme. The
Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for the invitation to
the CARICOM ministerial and summit on June 19-20. He
stressed the importance of Haiti's relationship with its
Caribbean neighbors and said he will pass the information to
President Preval. Post expects a response soon; the GoH will
likely request financial assistance.
