(S/NF) On January 22, we delivered reftel nonpaper with our
request for additional information on a list of Iranians to
David Bertolotti, the MFA's action officer on Iran
nonproliferation. Bertolotti welcomed our efforts, noting
that the same list had already been delivered to the French
Embassy in Washington. Bertolotti said France is in the
process of further researching the individuals on the list,
but given that they are not as well-known as other key actors
in Iran's nuclear program, less information is readily
available. Nonetheless, he noted that he expects to provide
us with the MFA's final findings in Washington on the margins
of the upcoming January 31 PSI meeting.
