(1) Per reftel, post delivered demarche on Wshington
International Renewable Energy Conference 2008 (WIREC 2008)
to Terence Craig, head of the Americas Division, and Rosita
Hubard, head of International Organizations of the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Suriname. The MFA had no
immediate response.
(2) Post requested that MFA forward the information to the
following: the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry
of Labor, Technology, and Environment, the Ministry of
Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries, the Ministry of
Natural Resources, Ministry of Planning and Dewelopment
Coordination, the Ministry of Regional Development, and the
Ministry of Physical Planning, Land, and Forestry Management.
(3) Post will report any substantive response from the
Government of Suriname.
