1. Per reftel, POLOFF delivered demarche, second in a series
of four, on topics for the International Civil Aviation
Organization (ICAO) to Terence Craig, Head of the Americas
Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) July 6,
2007. Craig said that he was unaware of our desire to seek
support for these U.S. positions, and co-sponsorship, on the
Assembly working paper on environmental issues that will be
reviewed at the 36th session of the ICAO General Assembly.
Craig said he would pass this information on to individuals
who handle these matters in the Ministry of Labor,
Technology, and Environment, Ministry of Transportation,
Communication, and Tourism, Ministry of Trade and Industry,
and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Craig added he would inform
post of developments.
