1. Per reftel, Poloff delivered demarche to Terence Craig Head of
the Americas Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MFA) June
13, 2007. Craig said that he was unaware of President Bush's
proposal that addressed climate change. Poloff shared the USG views
on the key issues per reftel, paragraphs three through six, with
Craig. He said he would pass this information on to individuals in
the MFA and the Ministry of Labor, Technology, and Environment who
handle these matters and would inform post of any new developments.
