¶1. Per reftel, Poloff delivered demarche to Terence Craig, Head of
the Americas Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) June
13, 2007. Craig said that he was unaware of our desire to seek
support for U.S. positions, and co-sponsorship, on the Assembly
Working Paper of the Universal Safety Oversight Program (USOAP) that
will be reviewed at the 36th session of the International Civil
Aviation Organization (ICAO) General Assembly. Craig said he would
pass this information on to individuals who handle these matters in
the Ministries of Transportation, Trade and Industry, and Foreign
Affairs. Craig added he would inform post of developments.
