"Sharing the matrices, including on the UN's website, sounds
like a reasonable thing to do," Panamanian Acting FM Ricardo
Duran told POLCOUNS on August 21 during presentation of
reftel demarche. Acknowledging that he was not aware of the
situation in the 1540 Committee, Duran advise the U.S. to
engage in New York with Panamanian PermRep to the UN Arias.
Duran undertook to share this demarche with First VP and FM
Samuel Lewis and MFA UNSC Senior Advisor Nils Castro when
they return to Panama next week. Post is also sharing this
demarche with MFA working level and will report any further
developments.
