claim to U.S. citizenship
4. On Thursday, March 1, 2007, Mexican authorities notified
Post of two minor Amcits, Ms. Rivera and Britny McGraw, being
detained in protective custody. Local police located the minors
at a local hotel after following Ms. McGraw's mother information
of their possible whereabouts. Conoff visited Ms. Rivera at the
Special District Attorney's office for sex crimes in Nogales and
interviewed her on the evening of March 1.
5. Ms. Rivera, also known in Mexico as Diamond Gabrielle
Rivera, reluctantly provided information concerning her identity
and much of the information she provided (DPOB, name, etc.) were
incorrect. Post, however, was able to locate and speak with Ms.
Rivera's mother, Myra Ramirez, and get her true identity
information. Mrs. Ramirez told Post that her daughter had been
reported missing to the Glendale, AZ Police Department since
February 2007. On March 2, Mexican Immigration removed Ms.
Rivera from Mexico and Post confirmed her safe return home on
Monday March 5. Post considers this case closed.
