Affairs Attache Doros Venezis. Venezis said Cyprus will
consider Ambassador Swing's candidacy for Director General
(DG) of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
However, Cyprus will consider other nominees as they are
proposed, including current DG Brunson McKinley. Venezis
said Cyprus usually makes such decisions approximately two
months before the vote, in this case, in April 2008.
