¶1. Ministry of External Affairs Joint Secretary (United
Nations Political) Sanjiv Arora confirmed to Acting PolCouns
November 2 that India's delegation to the Community of
Democracies Ministerial in Bamako Nov 14-16 will be headed by
Anand Sharma, Minister of State for External Affairs. Arora
also confirmed that the GOI, presumably led by Sharma, will
also attend the APDP planning breakfast on November 15,
adding "however, this is not yet the time for India to
publicly commit to the APDP, but we will gladly participate
in informal discussions."
