According to MFA Under Secretary Marilyn Zonicle, the
Bahamas will be represented at UN General Assembly in New
York by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs
Brent Symonette. Prime Minister Ingraham was not planning on
attending. Zonicle also indicated that one or two officers
would be traveling to New York to support the Bahamian
mission to the UN during that time, but she could not provide
the names at this time. Post requested the MFA provide
information on the delegation's composition and its arrival
and departure dates as soon as available.
