(C) On November 26, PolOff delivered reftel demarche to
Ambassador Chepsongol, Director Americas Desk Division,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Chepsongol replied that he did
not know how the Kenyan delegation had been instructed to
vote regarding the three relevant resolutions, but stated
that the Government of Kenya shares many of the same views as
the U.S. in such issues. Chepsongol also promised to convey
our request to the Kenyan delegation in New York.
