On August 12, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the
Embassy that the following Omani government officials are
planning on attending the 62nd UNGA:
-- Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdulla, Minister Responsible for
Foreign Affairs;
-- Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Humud, Secretary General of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
-- Ambassador Salim bin Abdulla Barham, Chief, Department of
International Organizations;
-- Counselor Ali bin Sa'id al-Kathiri, Deputy Chief,
Minister's Office, Department for Coordination; and
-- Counselor Muhammad bin 'Awadh al-Hassan, Deputy Chief,
Minister's Office, Department for Political Affairs.
The Ministry has indicated that other information may follow
subsequently.
