Abdullah al-Riyami, Deputy Director of Department of
International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and
requested that Oman support the removal from Arabsat of
Al-Manar and of Al-Zawraa broadcasts. Riyami had no
substantive response, but stated that he would pass the
information to the appropriate Omani officials.
