1. (U) This is an action request. Please see following
paragraph.
2. (SBU) On June 13, Econoff discussed reftel points with
Mohammed al-Said of the Economic and Technical Cooperation
Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Said was very
interested in the subject and asked the Embassy to provide
additional, specific information on the actions of Idris so
that the Ministry could take appropriate action. Embassy
accordingly requests that the Department furnish such
information to share with the Omani government.
