(SBU) The Ambassador raised reftel points on May 1 with
Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Under Secretary Sayyid Badr
al-Busaidi and urged Oman not to vote for Belarus in its bid
for a seat on the UN Human Rights Council. Post also
delivered this information via formal diplomatic note to the
MFA. Any substantive response from the Omani government will
be reported septel.
