This is an action request for human rights verification required by the Leahy Amendment; see para 2. ¶2. Embassy Muscat requests the Department's immediate assistance in performing human rights vetting for BAIT REEHAN, ASHRAF KHALIL RAMADHAN (DOB: August 13, 1972; Omani Passport #: 00561233) of the Royal Army of Oman, who intends to travel to the United States from May 13-May 31, 2007 for training under the IMET program. The Embassy has found no information of any kind that this individual has committed human rights violations. GRAPPO
