service to our country, particularly in this critical part of
the world. From my experience, I know that both the King of
Saudi Arabia and the Sultan of Oman will likewise miss the
strong leadership that you provided to U.S. forces in the
region.
2. After you take a well-deserved break, I would encourage
you and your wife to visit Oman again so that you have a
chance to enjoy this beautiful country in a manner not
possible during your time with CENTCOM. I am sure our Omani
