(SBU) Pol-Econ Chief delivered ref A points on October 30 to
Humeid al-Ma'ani, Office Director for Ministry of Foreign
Affairs (MFA) Secretary General Sayyid Badr al-Busaidi.
(Note: Post delivered ref B information to the MFA on
September 30 via diplomatic note.) Al-Ma'ani had no
substantive reply, but said that Oman would strongly consider
our request. He also recommended that the U.S. contact the
Omani Mission to the UN in New York on all UNGA-related
matters.
