ConGen Munich contact Josef Priller, of Sitec's sales department, regarding the questions outlined in reftel. Priller provided the following answers: a) Sitec's customers: Sitec's typical customers are commercial aircraft manufacturers located worldwide. b) Ties to China: Sitec has no direct business relationship with firms in China. Since May 2001 Sitec has been a subsidiary of Accuron Technologies, a Singapore-based conglomerate. Since 1995 Accuron has run an aerospace component operation in China in the Export Processing Zone of the Suzhou Industrial Park, which produces airfoils, engine mounts, and case modules. However, Sitec and Accuron's operation in China do not trade parts with each other. c) U.S. export controls: Sitec management understands the restrictions of the U.S. Munitions List. ¶2. Post found no indication that Sitec is acting in a manner inconsistent with U.S. export controls, or was not forthcoming in its answers to our questions. ¶3.
