(SBU) We delivered reftel demarche on August 7 concerning the
UNSC DRC Arms Embargo resolution to Peter Ilichev, MFA Senior
Counselor for International Organizations. Ilichev stated
that the GOR supports lifting the arms embargo on government
forces of the DRC and agrees with the US position.
