This request for expression of interest follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business of March 23, 2007. The Government of Mozambique has applied for a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of the Water Services and Institutional Support Project. The Government of Mozambique intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit of payments toward consulting services for design and supervision of a water storage reservoir and a water distribution center at Quelimane. The services include: 1) Provide detailed design for a new water distribution center at Quelimane complete with pumping station, water tower ground reservoir, ancillary works, and a new 1000m ground reservoir at the EB4 Distribution Center Nampula. 2) Provide tender documents; 3) Supervision of works. ¶8. The Fundo de Investimento e Patrimonio do Abastecimento de Agua (FIPAG) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World BankQs Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004 (revised October 2006).
