1. Upon completion of the State Department Inspector General's
visit to Embassy Manila and after careful review and consultation
with the Department of Homeland Security, Post cannot concur with
the requested DHS-PHI-687310162006 at this time.
2. Currently, DHS uses consecutive TDYers to fill two positions.
Post requests that these two approved and existing positions be
filled with permanently assigned personnel, and that workloads then
be reassessed after the assignment of these permanent personnel
before additional positions are considered.
