(C) Poloff March 11 delivered points in Ref A along with the
NGO guiding principles (Ref B) in both English and Arabic to
MFA Bilateral Affairs Officer Arwa Hassan Al Sayed. She
expressed her appreciation for receiving the principles and
said that she would pass the points to Assistant
Undersecretary for Coordination and Follow Up Shaikh Abdul
Aziz Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa and circulate them to other
concerned officers in the Ministry. In the context of the
principles, Poloff encouraged continued progress toward a
welcoming climate for civil society and increasing freedom
for NGOs and their activities.
