On March 21, PolOff delivered reftel demarche and non-paper on the
Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) resolution to indefinitely
extend the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the Situation of
Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories Occupied since 1967, to
MFA Department of International Organizations Second Secretary
Inonge Limbambala. Limbambala said that she would pass the message
to her superiors in the MFA and the Zambian mission to the United
Nations in Geneva, who would decide whether to press the OIC to
defer action on the resolution until June.
