(U) Emboff delivered reftel points to Jadran Luin, Head of
the Maritime Office at the Ministry of Transport, and sought
support for re-election of the U.S. to the International
Maritime Organization (IMO) Council in Category A. He
thanked us, saying that the Government of Slovenia has not
declared an official position yet and would take our request
into consideration. Luin informed us that Janez Pozar,
Secretary of the Maritime Office at the MOT, would attend the
SIPDIS
IMO meeting in London.
